Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran through 2015. Her earlier role as Lebanese American teenager Jasira that goes through an array of struggles with the backdrop of the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. She was selected by Variety as one of 10 actors they wanted to see. The role she played was another one of her most memorable characters Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category. In addition, she was an actor and co-lead in Lucky 7 and other films such as"Mooz-lum" The Last Airbender Pop Star.
